Jamie Carr brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and dedication to her role as Director of Social Services at Conroe Health Care Center. A proud graduate of The Ohio State University, Jamie earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work, along with a minor in Disability Studies. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Texas and has devoted her career to supporting individuals and families through life’s transitions.
Her professional journey includes extensive experience in medical social work, community-based services, and program development. Jamie has worked with hospitals, health care organizations, and disability services, where she excelled in building partnerships, advocating for patients, and ensuring individuals had access to the resources they needed. She has also led teams, developed innovative programs, and created systems that improved training and care for vulnerable populations.
At Conroe Health Care Center, Jamie is passionate about making sure every resident and family feels supported, valued, and heard. Her approach blends clinical expertise with genuine care, always striving to enhance quality of life and dignity for those she serves.
Outside of work, Jamie brings the same energy and passion to her personal life. She is a die-hard Ohio State Buckeyes fan, an avid skier who has been on the slopes since the age of five, and an active member of a local CrossFit gym. These passions reflect her love of community, perseverance, and living life to the fullest.
